• Lookup Service
  • RNP will investigate UDDI standards integration into perfSONAR LS
    • Also look into how Multi domain LS model will work with UDDI based LS
    • perfSONAR group to document interfaces (all interfaces in general but LS in specific for this case) so that groups such as RNP working on UDDI technologies have better support for their work on different types of LS implementations. Without documentation and versioning, changes to interfaces will have undesirable effects and delays on their work (as an example)
  • Relationship between LS and Topology information. There are at least two possibilities here. Discussions are still ongoing. (Maybe schedule a phone call?)
    • Possibility One: LS has close tie ups with Topology database and registrations will contain some topology information as well. Client's asking for lookup might have topology related questions/criteria when trying to discover services that can satisfy their requirements
    • Possibility Two: LS stores only service information and service description. Not in depth information and no topology. Client will have to talk to Topology Service to find out topology related information
  • Martin, Jason and Jeff to try out example LS messages which contain topology and service (combined, proximity for example) related requests and replies. Also see how this information will be registered by the services.

• Topology Service

• NetraMet and SNMP MP
  • RNP to Install SNMP MP, go through sources and give feedback
  • RNP to try out Advent SNMP features and see if they are sufficient for NetraMet Collector (and compare against Java SNMP package)
  • RNP to give feedback on the SNMP MP vision discussed and the proposed integration of NetraMetCollector and NetraMetCollector Database
  • RNP to give feedback on PUSH Document

• Test Manager, concept of Agents
  • Could point out need for a stand-alone scheduler service. (Could be a scheduling front-end for multiple MP's. For case where the scheduler/MP are co-located, the scheulder could just recognize that it is local and make a direct API call instead of contacting the remote MP.

• Visualization Tools
  • LK to talk to CNM guys and work on RNP network represetation
  • RNP to provide download link to their ICE visualization tool
  • perfSONAR group to try out ICE and give feedback
  • RNP wants to work on including map based representation within ICE

• Clara and perfSONAR
  • LK to mail RRD MA download link to Hans
  • LK to provide introduction pages and documents to possible CLARA development effort
