  1. Developer status update on Hand-over of software (18 January until 29 February) and all specification documents and change logs:
    1. ALL - perfSONAR base
      1. Latest versions - all services need new Release Candidates?

      3. Testing Update (Panagiotis) - Testing have started.
        1. Scripts are being updated with the issues found on the MDM Pilot (new commands and tests to verify robustness of the service).
        2. Any missing account on JUNIPER or CISCO routers?
    6. Verena - BWCTL MP
      1. Documentation and change log available on DFN Erlangen SVN
      2. Software - RC2 is out. WebAdmin configuration tool to configure BWCTL MP is out. More RCs?
      3. Testing update - Stijn is extending the existing java scripts to cover new functionalities. Scripts ready?
    7. Maciej - Single LS
      1. Documentation and change log available on SVN trunk.
      2. Software - New RC (1.2-RC3) is available for testing - fixes problem of RRD MA registration.
        1. Web Admin for LS - editing properties configuration files issue - this concerns all services - ACTION ONGOING Michalis will release new version of web admin libraries next monday. All developers will need to modify their properties files, according to email that Michalis will send.
      3. Testing update (Prodromos) - scripts are ready. Started testing on RC3.
        1. Prodromos is having problems with malformed requests, LS returns invalid responses. This will not be fixed until next release. ACTION: Maciej will modify RNC files to make attributes optional, and help remedy this.
        2. Found some problems with the wizard - Michalis suggests that the developers write a document with information about the wizard configuration for their services. ACTION ONGOING Michalis to send a template of this document for developers to follow - Michalis will modify the Installation Actions document to include info for the web wizard.
        3. ACTION Michalis to ask developers to send Prodromos the LS Register requests produced by their service.
    8. Guilherme - CLI MP
      1. Documentation and change logs avaqilable on SVN trunk.
      2. Software - CL-MP 2.0 RC2 is ready with web admin support and RPM installation. AA will be supported?
      3. Testing (Jochem) - scripts ready to support new features?
        1. Test scripts and documentation for ping, OWAMP, and BWCTL support are ready and functional testing is finished. Only a few issues came up and are filed in bugzilla. Feedback for this?
        2. Documentation and test script creation has started for traceroute support. Ready?
        3. When will Cron functionality be tested?
        4. Will test for normal functionality and/or support for AA and/or cron/store functionality (schedule measurement)?
    9. Jeff and Jason - perfSONOBuoy - if everything is still on track for the end of February, this will be a good enough date to enter the 3.0 Release
      1. Documentation - first week of March.
      2. Software - perfSONARBUOY will still be ready for testing this week, so no changes from the last 3 weeks.
      3. Testing - end of Feb.
    10. Maxim and Yee - Pinger
      1. Documentation - ready
      2. Software - pinger API was merged with the rest of ps-ps base API and RC2 passed all tests. Its ready for release.
      3. Testing - ready and done.
    11. ACTION:Infrastructure to help functional testing - Test Infrastructure:
      1. A LS deployed so that people can register the information - DONE
      2. An AS service for people to test the authentication - Michalis will send a test guide on how to test AA to all testers - DONE
      3. A server with three operating systems to test the installation ONGOING A server is ready, will be configured next Tuesday. OS are RED-HAT, Debian and Free BSD.
        1. What to use on Debian and Free BSD instead of RPMs? Roman suggested creating WAR files and putting then in Tomcat. Roman will investigate this option when server is ready. Guilherme will create a script for converting RPMs to Debian packages.
      4. Accounts on routers to test the Telnet/SSH MP - ONGOING only a Juniper SSH access is still missing.

      2. Message type used by services to respond to message types they don't support:
        1. New message type called ErrorResponse for release 3.0 - Yes, this change will be implemented for 3.0, Szymon will be coordinating this change. ACTION: Szymon to send an email to the developers list saying this change will be implemented and that the impact will be for all services to update RNC files and the testers to update testing scripts accordingly. Maciej will make the change on perfSONAR base. This change is already implemented and tested on the I2 services, Pinger and perfSONARBUOY.
    2. Candido - Authentication Service
      1. Documentation and change log complete, available on SVN trunk.
      2. Software - RC2 is out, tomorrow RC3 will be available with echo functionality (EchoRequest message) switched on.

      3. Testing update (David and Patricia) - scripts are ready. David and Patricia not present on the call, no update email received.

      1. All documents and change log on SVN trunk.
      2. Software - 1.3-RC3 out today, RC3 uses the latest perfsonar-base jar (the one from 03032008) and also fixes the bug reported by Panagiotis last week.
      3. Testing Update (Panagiotis) - Testing have started. Panagiotis will now start testing RC3, now all needed accounts for Cisco and Juniper are available.
        1. Scripts are being updated with the issues found on the MDM Pilot (new commands and tests to verify robustness of the service), should be ready wnd of next week.
    2. Verena - BWCTL MP
      1. Documentation and change log available on DFN Erlangen SVN
      2. Software - RC2 is out. Problem found registering with LS, new RC will be out tomorrow fixing that. WebAdmin configuration tool to configure BWCTL MP is out.
      3. Testing update - Stijn is extending the existing java scripts to cover new functionalities. Due to the bugfixing needed for SSHTELNET MP, there hasn't been a lot of progress with the BWCTL test scripts. Stijn believes the scripts are almost ready, he will focus on that.
    3. Maciej - Single LS
      1. Documentation and change log available on SVN trunk.
      2. Software - New RC (1.2-RC3) is available for testing - fixes problem of RRD MA registration.
        1. Web Admin for LS - editing properties configuration files issue - this concerns all services - ACTION ONGOING The web admin with all features requested by Louki and Gina is almost finished. Michalis expects to finish this on Monday.

        1. What to use on Debian and Free BSD instead of RPMs? Roman suggested creating WAR files and putting then in Tomcat. Roman has already created war files for RRD-MA and SQL-MA latest RCs. ACTION NEW: Loukik to discuss with Roman about using war files and updating the Product Build Guid document. Guilherme will have a deb_maker script to automatize the process of building deb packages ready next week.
      4. Accounts on routers to test the Telnet/SSH MP - DONE All needed accounts available.

  3. AOB - Loukik suggests that each development team installs the latest RC of their services and make them available, so that others can test them without having to install them.
