A dashboard trial has been implemented on the CNM. It aims at highlighting at a glance the evolution of the information for multiple metrics over a network. A list of the top ten worse data have also been provided.

Most of the work during November has been directed towards having the RRD MA, SQL MA, LS, SSH/Telnet MP, BWCTL MP going operational. This implies documentation, functional tests and ease to install.

The work on the layer1 and layer2 metrics is progressing. A first document Monitoring Services in Hybrid Networks has been produced.

ABW passive bandwidth classification application and G3 SNMP monitoring application have been integrated with RRD MA. An installation package for ABW and Tbwtools applications are being prepared.

Collaborations

Two JRA1-JRA3-JRA4 conference calls were set-up to identify how JRA3 could make use of the JRA1-JRA4 developments. JRA3 concluded that the schema and the web-services could also be re-used to export the data. The JRA3 system would retrieve the information from the network equipment and make use of it internally, then would export them to the JRA1-JRA4 web-services so that the E2E visualisation tools could retrieve them through a perfSONAR schema.

Other

PerfSONAR and the Multi-Domain Monitoring service were presented during the GÉANT2 APM Meeting in Utrecht. The CNM, perfsonarUI, looking glass, BWCTL MP, ABW were briefly demonstrated. Positive feedback was received from the participants.

A description of a perfSONAR users segmentation and their monitoring information usage was produced and has been completed with the list of attributes that would be needed to authorize an user to access the infrastructure.

SA3 WI-15 has produced a hand-over document describing the different steps and the documentation that the JRA1 developers will have to respectively follow and produce to move a JRA1 development into production.
