Attendees: Hans Trompert (HT), Luuk Oostenbrink (LO), Alessandro Inzerilli (AI), Jon Kare Hellen (JH), Nicolas Simar (NS), Igor Velimirovic (IV)

Basic installation: all boxes are installed :-) Boxes in Surfnet and CARNet are already at their final places, box in GARR will be moved to the final physical location in a week. Box in GARR will maybe be reinstalled. All partners should send to IV some more info (IP address, OS info) by e-mail.
HW issues: SCSI controller supports RAID 0 and RAID 1. However, HT reported that there are some problems with controller RAID 1 implementation, so he suggests to use only software RAID 1, if needed.
OS requirements: NS investigated if there are any specific operating system requirements; the only specific request is that OS must have capability to install and use Java 1.4.2 and higher.
Testing evaluation form: every partner will check if there are any additional comments to a form proposed by IV.

Actions

SURFNET, GARR: to send some basic info about box installed (IP address, some additional info about OS, like output of the 'uname -a' command...) to IV by e-mail
SURFNET, GARR, CARNet to install testing tools before 19.12.2005. Surfnet will start with IPFlow, GARR with flow-tools and STAGER, CARNet with flow-tools and NERD. During installation partners will use Installation guide provided by DANTE and update the documents, if necessary.
All: send to IV comments and suggestions regarding testing evaluation form.
