There are several documents which provide all information one needs to get involved into E2E Link Monitoring. As a good starting point we recomend engineers to get familiar with the Operational Model - E2E Monitoring System Operational Model
E2E Link Monitoring
The E2E Link Monitoring System was developed to foster the E2E Link Operational Procedures. The Documentation should be the starting point for anybody getting involved in Monitoring of E2E Links. It explains the concepts, the overall system design, the activities for the Domains and includes a user guide for the Monitoring System.
