Role: Implementation activity leader, PSNC team leader
Since I joined perfSONAR I've been leading implementation activity. This involves getting the power of all participants in development to deliver one product. This project will help research communities over the world by creating a common platform to collect and run measurements in a consistent way. It's exciting to observe that the success or failure of the project depend on a large group of participants from different continents, countries and institutions. Occasionally it may not even work perfectly but everybody knows we must head in the same direction. Personally I'm happy to see enthusiasm of PSNC software developers delivering important componnets of perfSONAR and making contacts and sharing experiences with other partners.
