Project Weathermaps

This page contains the information and discussion about the project weathermaps.

It is triggered by the delivery of a weathermap to LHC-OPN. There are two discussions, one on linking the data from different layer together and the second one on the weathermap display.

Linking measurements from multiple layers

David's questions:

1. To the question: will there be multiple logical interface per physical interface (e.g. multiple VLAN per L2 E2E circuit), the answer is yes.
2. To the question: will the domain in between the sites will touch the IP layer. The answer is no. The only place where IP addresses are involved are in the end-sites (LHC-OPN sites).
3. To the question: will there be multiple E2E circuit between a pair of site. The answer is yes.
