Overview
- Simple wrapper for Ping tool.
- Very simple to install.
- Can communicate with Java (Axis) implementation of services/clients.
- Can communicate with Perl client.
- Supports new namespaces of NMWGv2 schema.
- Shows how new MP for other measurement tool can be created.

News
- 20 Dec 2005: Ping MP service (from version 0.1-2) can be run as a daemon
- 08 Dec 2005: It is not sure if the schema for Ping MP messages is stable so request and response might be changed in the near future,
- 08 Dec 2005: So far Ping MP does not send data to Measurement Archive (MA) service but only to the client (the work is being continued to add this functionality).
