- Scripts for testing registration/de-registration/etc automatically - Ilias to provide estimates as to how long would it take to write up such scripts. DONE- Ilias mentioned that it will require 3 days to implement such scripts
- Status Update from the testing team
- Ilias
- All scripts for RRD MA (ready by 7/12). Includes Creator, Deliverer, Parsing and output- Ilias mentioned that the scripts are undergoing final improvements and should be ready by end of day (14/12) or by tomorrow morning (15/12). ACTION: LK to have a chat about them tomorrow afternoon/evening with Ilias
- Tests to check if RRD MA registers/de-registers properly - These tests haven't been done
- Michalis
- SQL MA testing - status - Michalis mentioned that installation is almost complete. Some tests to check if installation has gone ok do not have proper results and that he is in touch with Roman to see what is going on. SQL MA testing was delayed due to office construction work at Michalis' office. He has recently circulated a document explaining what he will be testing. LK mentioned that he is happy with the document and parts of such test scripts can be used to test the e2eMon MP. Michalis will continue working on his scripts
- Output messages of LS improvement - This work has been put on hold currently (as reported by Michalis on the mailing list). Work will be done later on when SQL MA test scripts are made ready
- Loukik - plans for next week - Loukik mentioned that 5 services are expected to be handed over by end of week/beginning of next week. SQL MA and e2eMon MP won't be handed over until mid jan. The hand over process includes 3 major activities - documentation verification, functional testing based on documented specifications, Installation testing. Michalis asked about what should be done when a bug is found in the handed over code. LK mentioned that the process is to first inform the developer and the testing team about the bug. If the bug is small, the developer will be given the option to entire fix it in the release branch or provide a new release branch (typically includes fixing the code in the stable branch). The second option should be recommended. If too many bugs are found or serious bugs are found, then only the second option should be provided.
- Planning of tests for Telnet/SSH MP (Guilherme), BWCTL MP(Stijn) & CLI MP(Verena + RNP) - Guilherme will start testing telnet/ssh mp in january 1st week when he is back from holidays. Same with Stijn and Verena. Verena will be writing scripts in perl, Stijn in java and Guilherme will investigate that.
