- NS to investigate if there is a snapshot: a file with the code that can be installed + installation procedures (similar to the one of the LS and MA).

- Roll Out Manager: document describing how many different version of schema can be deployed by the NRENs. Too many will cause a problem for the visualisation tools.

- LK and AH: make a proposal on the point on consistency of the NM-WG schema and the deployment within the MDM service.
- LK: create a workflow for updating the contend of the perfSONAR.net pages.

Last Meeting Actions review.
- LK and AH: make a proposal on the point on consistency of the NM-WG schema and the deployment within the MDM service.
- Not in the handover document. It fits wihtin a bigger document about the schema. Maintain consistency about all the deployments, limit the number of versions for maintenance to avoid having too many variation of subversions. It is part of the Roll-out (release strategy).

mLS into next release?
- ST: mLS will most likely not go in the release. Few points still need to be cleared (9 points with different level of importance for those points). The multi-LS hasn't been tested (timewise, it is not likely). So it is not likely to be in the release.

How to monitor the advancement of the work?
- project is helpful, but currently the distribution of task and the reporting of time spend doesn't allow to do so in an satisfactory way.
- Each tool and service should have available on the wiki either its workplan or the list of features to be implemented.

Transition to service - news
Three new Dante staff member planned over 2007.
- Implementation Manager - requested by the NRENs to help them managing the installation of services and amongst them the MDM service
- PerfSONAR SW and Systems engineer to staff the Service Desk to perform L1 and L2 duties.
- PerfSONAR SW and Systems engineer to bring the services into operation (improvements).
- ST: Isn't it a waste of ressource if the L1only pass a call? They should do more than just that. LK: it is more than just passing the calls. It is more like a NOC for service desk. It is nice if the person has basic knowledge about the service.
Three ways of deploying the MDM services are suggested:
- as of now, NRENs buys their own kits, install the OS and the tools
- fully managed service: Dante buy the boxes, install OS and services and perform L2 support for those boxes.
- semi managed service: intermediate between the two.
